Assisted Night Vision
The compact, wireless colour camera can be installed inside or outside your property. The camera is weather resistant and night vision enhanced to increase the picture quality in low light conditions. It can be used free standing or wall mounted.

Supports Multiple Cameras
The slim line and compact digital security recorder plugs directly into your television and can support a maximum of four wireless cameras. Yale recommends two to three cameras per system for optimal performance. Live camera images can be viewed at any time by turning over your TV to the designated channel.

Motion Detection
Dependent on your personal setting preferences, the system will automatically turn over to the CCTV channel if the camera detects motion. In addition, the system will automatically record the detected activity onto the devices internal memory using ASF format.

Expandable Memory
Additional SD memory cards can be inserted into the unit to increase the internal memory size. A memory card will also enable the recorded images to be viewed and transferred on to your PC. The images can then be saved onto your PC hard drive, emailed or copied to disk.

How many cameras can be used with the SVS1100 system?
In some areas the SVS1100 system can work with up to four cameras. However, it performs optimally when used with two or three. With each further camera installed, the user will notice a decrease in radio range and video quality. This is due to the reduction in available radio bandwidth. Yale recommends using two or a maximum of three cameras in any given location.

If I have more than one camera attached to my SVS1100 system, how does live monitoring work?
The system can be set up to view either one camera at a time, or up to four cameras simultaneously in split screen rotational format.

How long will the SVS1100 system record?
The system is defaulted to record only when motion is detected. The user can set the clip length between 3 and 20 seconds. Based upon 25 triggers per day, recording for 10 seconds each time it will record for four days before the system automatically erases the oldest clip. (Estimate based on 1Mb/sec, bandwidth may vary depending on recording subject).

How do I increase the system memory?
The recorder has a 128MB internal memory, and can be expanded by using an SD memory card. A 1GB SD card will record for up to 32 days based on 25 triggers per day, 10 second clip (1M bit/sec).

Can the system record more than one camera at a time?
The recorder will be able to record one camera at any time. Should two cameras be triggered, the first will record for a predetermined length, then proceed to recording the second camera. The recording is in 25 frames per second (live frame rate).

How far will the wireless hardware operate?
The Yale wireless system is based on 2.4GHz ISM frequency band. The transmission distance varies dependent upon the wall thickness and interference. In a domestic environment, the typical transmission range is 15 to 30 metres (through 1 to 2 walls).

Will the system be affected by extreme weather conditions?
The receiver/recorder unit is intended for indoor use only (temperate range 0 to 40°C). The camera is designed to be outdoor weather resistant (temperate range -10 to 40°C); however it should be sheltered under eves or a porch wherever possible to decrease the exposure to the elements.

Is the SVS1100 PC compatible?
Recording is done in ASF format. Using the optional SD card, the user can copy the recorded clip onto their PC.
