The SC-355-SMS GSM interface is a new type of wireless terminal that allows users to dial and receive phone calls via GSM Network. It acts as an interface between GSM Network and a locally connected telephone, PBX or Payphone.

The payphone / telephone can be connected to GSM Network through the line interface of SC-355sms. It supports GSM 900 / 1800MHz dual frequency.
SC-355sms GSM interface is used to provide an analog telephone service (POTS) to a subscriber. It provides SLIC (Subscriber Line Interface Circuit) function at line interface to certain PABX.

 
SMS function is integrated to provide data transmission via computer or notebook operation.

From various settings, SC-355 will determine the calls connected through local PSTN Line or GSM in accordance to the numbers dialed therein, which can save phone-call fee as a favorable benefit.
(3) Through the connection towards local PSTN line, the phone calls will proceed with code-transfer dialing process.
For example, when you dial “002”, SC-355 will transfer it to “006” and transmit the calls through the other Fixed Network Operator systems.
(4) SMS transmission (SC-355S only)
Connected with RS-232 Cable, SC-355S can send and receive SMS via PC / Notebook.

Operation
Set up Parameter:
  (1) Set GSM dial-out code amount
  (2) Polarity reversing function
  (3) Definition of DTMF reversing signal
  (4) Limit of communicating time
  (5) GSM function of dialing out the prompt voice
  (6) When not connecting to Central Office line, GSM will provide the forced dial-out function
  (7) Set up GSM extra dialing local coderation
  (8) GSM isn’t ready, call will be forced to dial out from PSTN
