Felson Water Leak alarm detects if have leak on your water pipes. If water have been running or tapped for more than 48 hours -even if it's only one drop per second- it gives an acoustic alert that only stops when you manually resets the water leak detector.

The Felson WATER ALARM detects even small leaks in the piping, so you may rest assured that next time, your bill will not be TOO big. The problem is that neither the insurance company nor the water supply company will pay your water bill, if there has been a leak. With the Felson WATER ALARM the damage will be detected before it is too late and the bill becomes TOO big.     The Toilet Is Running The gaskets in new as well as in old toilets are usually the greatest "sinners", when it comes to waste of water. Small particles may get stuck and cause the water in the toilet to constantly run. Often in such small quantities that it does not even show on the water surface, but enough to result in a huge water bill. The Water Tap Is Dripping Dripping water taps are among the problems which are easy to detect. Nevertheless, often water is left dripping and it might amount to $25 to $35, before the gasket is replaced. The Felson WATER ALARM sounds an alarm every 48 hours. Whenever this happens, you have to press the reset button to turn off the sound. In this way, your attention is drawn to the problem one more time. The Outside Water Tap The outside water tap has cost many a house owner dear. Children often forget to turn off the tap after use, especially if a garden hose is mounted on it and is lying on the lawn. Many cubic metres of water may run out unnoticed and cause an excessive water bill. Safety Valve The installation's safety valve spring which is supposed to eliminate excess pressure in the installation by heating of the water, may in time become slack. If so, great volumes of water are lead directly into the drain - water which you yourself will have to pay for. Leakages in The Installation Corrosion or fractures in the piping may be insignificant to begin with but will rapidly increase in size. In some instances, water will find its way into a crack in the construction or - in older houses - the drainage system which means that large volumes of water may be wasted, before the damage is discovered. Consequently, the flooring may be destroyed and the water bill take on unbelievable proportions.

Here's How Easy It Is to Install The Felson WATER ALARM:

	1. Insert the batteries supplied with the alarm into the Felson WATER ALARM - and it is ON. Do not remove the tape on the back of the alarm. Put on the supplied strips, and put on the cover.
	2. Clean the pipe and remove any paint from the place of installing. Position the Felson WATER ALARM upstream or downstream of the water meter, but as close to it as possible. The Felson WATER ALARM shall be installed on iron or copper pipes.
	3. Tighten the strips such that the water alarm is positioned firmly against the pipe. The Felson WATER ALARM will now register even small, inconsistent, leakages in the installation.
Remove dirt, dust and paint from the pipe prior to the installation.
