ELECTRIC STRIKES
FOR CYLINDRICAL LOCK-SETS

INTRODUCTION

EL-971 electric strikes are designed for use with cylindrical lock-sets for door release purpose. When combining the electric strike with an access control keypad, it converts a standard cylindrical lock set to an electronic access control locking system with high security and user convenience without the key.

Four models are available in the EL-971 series:
1) EL-971A-12 (Fail-safe, 12VDC) (This model
2) EL-971B-12 (Fail-secure, 12VDC/AC) (Daily on stock)
3) EL-971A-24 (Fail-safe, 24VDC) (
4) EL-971B-24 (Fail-secure, 24VDC/AC)

Standard color are Baked Painted Finsihing. If you want Chrome Plate finishing please choose the color option "CH".

FAIL-SAFE

• The door is locked with power ON, and it is unlocked with power OFF.
  For Fire/Emergency door or Escape door installations.

FAIL-SECURE

• The door is locked with power OFF, and it is unlocked with power ON. For Entrance door installation.
• The cylindrical lock-set is usually used at the wooden or aluminum door.
• The EL-971 series electric strikes are fully compatible with AEI DK-9000 series Digital Access Control Keypads.
