DESCRIPTION
AD-1312 power pack is a dual-output multi-purpose power supply mainly designed for electric door lock striking application. It is also an ideal power supply for those appliances require back-up power, such as alarm system, security telephone dialer etc. The power pack consists of a 13.7VDC at 300mAmp regulated power source for access control device (such as a keypad) and a 12VDC at 3Amp high current unregulated power source for electric door lock striking purpose. Both power sources are short circuit protected with resettable fuse and are backed-up by a 12V/1.2AH rechargeable battery in case of power failure. The power pack comes with controllable timing relay output contacts for "Fail-safe" or "Fail-secure" electric door lock strike; and a 13.7VDC constant voltage, current limiting battery charger which ensures long operation life of the backup battery under normal use.
The power pack can work independently to provide power and striking timing for an electric lock system, or, work together with a digital keypad or other access control device to form a complete electronic door access control system. Putting backup battery in the power pack can keep the electric lock system to work in a period of time after power failure but it is optional.
